Upon the request of a friend who, for months, was raving specifically about their Double Jungle Burger, I finally decided to give this place a try. Now.... before I go any further, my rating is based on the burger itself and only the burger.
So the double jungle is a double patty with cheese and just about everything from all their burgers; mushrooms, sautéed onions, jalapeños, pickles, hickory sauce, bell peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. I asked for no tomatoes and bell peppers. I also had it to go.
Got home, opened the container, and to my surprise, for a messy burger, it stayed self contained and was not a big mess everywhere. Is this a burger you could eat with your hands, maybe, but I went the fork and knife route.
End result....great. It obviously had every taster you can think of when putting all the ingredients into one. Bun was fresh, meat but overcooked on the inside, but remained juicy and to my surprise not dry all (I did try the meat by itself before diving in) and did it taste like a typical compressed patty like out of the store. The onions were cooked enough where it not leave onion breath and the mushrooms were fresh. All in all, I would get it again and again to go.
So the things I did not rate:
Price-reasonable, considering all the added ingredients.
Service-for this kind of burger joint, I would say the guy did a great job; was very nice and my order was correct.
Establishment-needs work. Soda machines were down, but the guy there did offer the couple behind me drinks in bottle if they did not want tea or juice. -

This used to be one of our favorite places for burgers. They have slipped to some of the worst. Is management new or something? We are giving up on them. What a shame. I feel bad for people who don't know the ratings that were so good were from the past. Don't waste you time or money.

A very average burger at an extremely high price. This is one of those places where you look at your receipt trying to figure out how it was so expensive. The fries are really bad, I would definitely say if you're looking for a very good burger to skip this place. They were also very rude on the phone for no reason.

We ordered mozzarella sticks, mushroom burgers, and a Philly cheesesteak (all combos with fries and drink , total $37). The mozzarella sticks are tasty. The burgers are 1/2 pound burgers, really nice sized, cooked medium well, and lightly seasoned. The Burgers are great. The fries looked great but were undercooked and soggy. We left satisfied and with leftovers that were devoured later in the day. The beverage station only had three selections since the other five flavors were out of order. Overall it was a good experience but I'm willing to wait a bit longer to ensure that my fries are crisp and the meat is a bit under seasoned.
